Inkwell Studio was founded with one vision in mind: to create a space where artistry, education, and exceptional service meet.

Owner, Jacqueline Tripp has spent nearly three decades in the beauty industry refining her craft and evolving alongside it. After graduating cosmetology school in St. Louis, MO, Jacqueline began her career behind the chair specializing in hair and nails. Her passion for color quickly led her to travel across the United States as a color educator for the acclaimed Italian color line, Davines, where she trained professionals on the science and artistry behind hair color.

After relocating to Omaha Nebraska, Jacqueline continued focusing on hair color and extensions before exploring barbering for two years - an experience that expanded her technical skill set and precision. Ultimately, her love for working with women and transformative beauty services brought her back to the full-service salon environment.

In 2015, Jacqueline began her journey into permanent makeup. What started as an expansion of services quickly became a calling. She became an educator, committed not only to mastering the craft but also to protecting and elevating industry standards. As demand grew, she transitioned away from hair to focus exclusively on permanent makeup artistry.

During the 2020 pandemic, Jacqueline perfected her skills as a lash extension artist and launched her own lash extension brand, Lash Tripp, offering premium products both in-store and online. But she wasn’t done evolving.

In 2022 as the Russian Manicure began emerging in the United States, Jacqueline recognized the potential to reshape nail standards. Within eight months of offering the service, her books were full. She made the decision to focus exclusively on permanent makeup, Russian manicures and architecturally structured nail extensions using dual forms.

In 2021, she opened the doors to Inkwell Studio - her first brick and mortar salon. Designed intentionally as a calm, elevated space, Inkwell Studio was built to allow artists to expand their creativity while providing clients with a peaceful, luxury experience.

Today, Inkwell Studio is home to a talented team of dedicated artists who prioritize precision, premium products, continued education, and exceptional customer service. Jacqueline now educates other nail professionals in Russian Manicure techniques, with a mission to elevate standards across the industry.
